The Little House on Beaucatcher Mountain is located just 1/4 mile from the chalets on Beaucatcher Rd and is available for short visits or extended reservations of one month or longer. 

Whether you are looking for a romantic get-away for 2, a business retreat or family vacation cabin, the Beau is a wonderful location from which to explore the wonders of Asheville and the Western North Carolina Mountains.

The Beau Cottage is an adorable 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage with a queen bed in each bedroom.  It has a full kitchen, with the same amenities as all of our chalets and in addition, has a washer/dryer.

The Beau Cottage is in a private, wooded setting tucked back from the road, which gives you a feeling of extreme privacy, yet you are just 3 minutes from downtown, as with all our (other) chalets.  While the summertime offers a tucked in feeling, the winter has wonderful long-range mountain views with the falling of the leaves.  There is also wonderful outdoor space as well - a covered front porch with 2 rockers, and an open deck, to enjoy your morning coffee and home-cooked meals (or great take out!). 

The Beau Cottage is one of our most Pet-Friendly vacation rentals with rave reviews from our four-legged guests.  Right off the porch and deck is the new, spacious (grassy) dog pen, so your furry friend can enjoy the outdoors as well!

While we're sure everyone will enjoy the Beau Cottage, we know that our guests with furry family members will most certainly find it as fabulous as the Alpine Chalet!

Amenities

Local Phone and Long-distance, Hi-Speed modem & wireless Internet, heat and air conditioning, cable TV in living room and bedroom, DVD, and stereo w/cd player. The fully equipped kitchen includes microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender and full complement of herbs, spices and condiments as well as regular and decaf coffee beans and teas.  There is a washer/dryer, an iron and ironing board, luxury bath towels and linens (the same as The Grove Park Inn!), all paper products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer; tool kit, First aid kit, and Games.  There is a guest book to orient you to Asheville's sites & sounds complete with maps and information on local restaurants, attractions, and shopping for your added convenience.

A special treat for our guests - fresh baked cookies from Judy's Well-Bred Bakery and Cafe and a $10 gift certificate as well.

Outdoor Amenities - Gas grill, partly covered porch with rockers and open deck with table and chairs.  A fenced in grassy pet pen that adjoins the deck is available for your furry family member to enjoy the outdoors as well.

My husband and I and our three small dogs travel across the country throughout the year. Swiss Chalets is honestly the best place we have ever stayed. The location and proximity to all attractions, restaurants, etc is perfect. Our cabin was VERY clean and the entire family (yes, even the dogs) were given the warmest welcome. They honestly think of everything. They provide the basics like coffee, spices along with being fully equipped. Our view was incredible. The cabins are built into the side of a hill so we felt as though we were in a tree house. The property is so beautiful.

The owners and staff honestly care that you are happy. We forgot our dogs leashes and before we were gone 10 minutes I had a phone call letting us know we had forgotten them. And if you travel with dogs - you know you need the leashes.

I definitely will come back to visit Asheville and I will recommend to all my family and friends to stay at the Swiss Chalets. There is nothing better out there!!!
